We have just created a new proxy directory! If you have your own myspace proxy or any other proxy site for that matter, check it out.
I know the theme doesn’t match the site, but that’s ok. I like the theme and I’ll create new theme later to match the rest of the site.
MySpace Proxy: TheBestProxy

I’ve been using TheBestProxy for the last couple days to access the digital point forums and found this proxy to be very fast so I thought I would try it as a MySpace Proxy. I was able to access the site without problem and received no errors logging into my MySpace profile.
I didn’t have time to play around with it much, but I clicked around my profile and everything appears to be working fine so TheBestProxy does seem like a good alternative to unblock MySpace.
For those of you wondering why I didn’t just use my own MySpace Proxy… It’s because my domain (ushibby) is blocked by my work firewalls!

I noticed an interesting trend in the usage of my site and my proxies. Many employers and schools block access to social sites such as MySpace and Facebook because they feel these sites are distracting their employees/students.
While I agree that some people will be distracted and probably be on it every second of the day, my data shows that majority are using it responsibility.
I receive majority of my traffic from the United States and it’s about evenly spread out across the country.
What I’m noticing is that majority of my users are on the site for about 20-40 minutes at a time and a big percentage of this traffic is between the hours of 10AM - 3PM.

So… This is telling me that majority of my users are on MySpace and Facebook during their lunch break.
So.. Mr. Boss / Teacher, What do you have to say now? What’s that, you were wrong? and, and.. You’re sorry for accusing us of not doing our jobs. Yeah right… when has your boss or teacher ever apologized for being wrong with something.

We have a new MySpace proxy… Now using Zelune!

Hey folks,
Just a quick note to let you guys know that I’ve switched the proxy script from phproxy to Zelune for our MySpace Proxy. The Zelune proxy works much better from my tests to unblock MySpace.
I’d like to hear from you though. Do you like the new one better? What about other sites, is there another site that has a much better script than what we’re using?
